Current Conditions:Thank you for visiting our website!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: TRANSITION NEWS UPDATE: February 21th: The church council approved APRIL 1st as the installation date for our new Vacancy Pastor. Pastor James Van Dellen will be installed at our regular 10:30am service with guest preacher Rev. Galan Walther. As you may recall, Rev. Walther has been our primary contact at the District Office and a great help to us during this year of transition. A WELCOME DINNER is being planned immediately following the service. Meats will be provided by the church and by a generous donation from the Salleys. If you wish, you may prepare a favorite dish to pass and to show off your culinary skills. Please continue to pray for Pastor Van Dellen and his wife, Judy. Deacon Mike (PLEASE visit the Transition Year Page [tab at the top of the page] often for a summary of past notices.)
YOUTH NITE UPDATE: Our next meeting will be March 5th at 6:45. A person of interest has been approached to assume the responsibilities as Youth Director. I am not at liberty to share the name at this writing but do ask that you pray for God's will to be done just as I have asked that they "prayerfully consider" God's will for them. Deacon Mike (Updated 022112)
NEW FEATURE ADDED FOR CHILDREN DURING WORSHIP We have been experimenting with offering a children's bible study/activity time during the sermon portion of the worship service. Elder Bob Scholar will head up this effort. If you would like to take advantage of this offering please let an elder or Deacon Mike know before the service. During the message hymn the children will be dismissed to go to the fellowship hall and will return when the offering is being received. For any questions please contact me. Thanks, Deacon Mike.
